Hey Mordy: I was in the shop for the first time on Saturday and talked to Joe for a while. He's a great kid and a great shop you have there. I'll be stopping by regularly. Joe took my name down for you to call me when you got a few BM Dannies in stock. I'd appreciate the heads up if you get them in stock. Never had one but I've heard they're really good swimmers and the finish holds up for years. I'd really like a couple to fish if the herring ever get here!! Thanks Mordy and I'll probably be on the south shore this weekend to hit it again. I'll stop by the shop.

Stopped by the shop for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised that such a great surfcasting shop is so close. I'll definitely be stopping in on a regular basis.

Mordy, just wanted to pass along that I had a couple if BIG fish on the Jay1 round nose swimmer (the small one, like 5.5 inches or so) out in Montauk this weekend.. I had a 24 lber and also one that bottomed out my 30 lb boga (I estimate 34-35 lbs.. Please pass this along to him, I always like to give positive feedback. the thing swims great.. and it took a beating by bluefish too.. LOL I had blues to 12 lbs on it that night also.. Got those plugs yesterday - that Jay1 does have just as nice a finish as the other "custom" plugs I have. I 'll try to test it out around 5/23-5/25 when the tides are right at the outlet I fish. Thanks for the T-shirt too. Manny in CT
